The project is expected to last only four days. Motorists on Mall Drive and Market Street will be able to access businesses on those streets, but will not be able to cross or turn onto Haines Road.

Town Line Road, between U.S. Highway 53 to just past South Fire Trail, is expected to be closed for several weeks. Public Works is repairing a culvert that failed, likely due to high water after recent rains.

Construction and work on the traffic signals at the intersection of Haines and Arrowhead Roads in Hermantown will be completed sooner than expected, enabling the re-opening of Haines Road.

Good news for motorists who have been detoured off 21st Avenue East in Duluth for the last month. Construction at the intersection with 4th Street is nearly complete, and the Avenue will re-open on Sept. 26 at 5 p.m.

Beginning Thursday, Sept. 21, Haines Road will be closed between Highway 53 and Arrowhead Road due to construction at the interesection of Haines and Arrowhead. Motorists will still be able to access businesses along that stretch from Highway 53.
