The public law libraries in all three St. Louis County Courthouses are closed until further notice. If you are in need of services, please contact Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota at 218-623-8100.

The Duluth Law Library has the largest print collection of St. Louis County's three law libraries.  The libraries all subscribe to the same online Westlaw service.  Below is a description of the services available and the holdings of the three libraries.  

Reference Services: An attorney is available in the Duluth Law Library to assist library users with print and electronic legal resources.  A part-time attorney is available in Hibbing (Tuesdays) and Virginia (Wednesdays).

Borrowing Library Materials: The Law Library in Duluth allows judges of the state, state officials, city and county officials, members of the Bar, and inhabitants of the County, to borrow legal materials.

WiFi: Wireless service is available at all St. Louis County Law Library locations.

Photocopying/Printing: All three Law Libraries have photocopiers and/or printers available for legal research purposes only.

Billson Meeting Room: A small meeting room is available for individuals and small groups. Please reserve the room 24 hours in advance to secure it.
