Several programs exist that may help reduce your property tax for qualifying acreage.
These include programs for productive land already classified as agricultural (Green Acres), nonproductive land connected to Green Acres land (Rural Preserve), and forest (Class 2c Managed Forest Land, or the Sustainable Forest Incentive Act).
