The couple had been driving near Highway 169 near Wuori Township when they rolled the ATV and were thrown from it. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

A couple had been driving their ATV as part of a club ride, when a tire caught the edge of the road and rolled. The driver escaped unharmed, however the passenger was thrown from the ATV and injured.

Two ice emergencies in two days has the Sheriff's Office warning people to stay off the ice on area lakes and rivers. Two men survived after falling through the ice on Lake Kabetogama Tuesday.
