Tattoos on the Heart is theme of Health and Human Service Conference

Father Gregory Boyle, the founder of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang intervention, rehab and re-entry program in the country, will be the keynote speaker kicking off this year's St. Louis County Health and Human Services Conference at the DECC. The 36th annual conference runs October 11-12. Father Boyle's speech will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m., in the DECC's Symphony Hall. The opening ceremony also includes a musical welcome from local singer, dancer and writer Solomon Witherspoon.
