Zoning Ordinance 62 was adopted in 2015. Since adoption, there have been amendments in 2016, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2025. As part of an ongoing review process, the Planning and Zoning Department worked with the St. Louis County Planning Commission to revise the ordinance language to minimize ambiguity, ensure consistency with other ordinances and regulations, and remove unnecessary administrative requirements, thereby better serving St. Louis County and property owners.
The Planning Commission held a workshop on December 18, 2025, to discuss the details of the proposed amendments. At the December 18, 2025, workshop, a motion was passed to initiate the public review period.
