With new federal tax rules beginning in 2018 that put a cap on the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction, some property owners are wondering if they can pay next year's taxes early before the law goes into effect.

Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the $398 million budget, which focuses on maintaining and building upon core services, making targeted investments in the areas of substance abuse and mental health, and addressing critical infrastructure needs.
