Construction near the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Arrowhead Road in Duluth will mean no turning from Arlington Avenue to Arrowhead Road and vice versa on Friday. Traffic on Arrowhead will be able to proceed straight through the intersection.

Jean Duluth Road will be closed between Glenwood Street and Martin Road beginning July 21 as St. Louis County Public Works replaces two culverts and repairs a third culvert. Additionally, the City of Duluth will be relocating a large diameter gas main as part of the project.

James "Ding" Holter bridge dedicated

The recently reconstructed bridge spanning the Black Duck River in Camp Five Township now carries an honorary name - the James "Ding" Holter Memorial Bridge. In a dedication ceremony yesterday, Holter's family was given the opportunity to unveil the sign that now identifies the bridge in his name.
