Fire, believed to have started from a wood stove, destroyed a detached garage and its contents. No one was injured and no other structures were damaged.

A Britt man, who'd been part of a work crew clearing a tree that had been blown over by high winds and was blocking a road, was injured when another tree fell on him.

A two-vehicle accident shut down a section of Midway Road on Sunday. Three people were injured, though none life threatening. Investigators believe an inexperienced driver failed to stop at the intersection, causing the crash.
