DAVID LANGMO has been located and was found in the City of Cloquet after a missing persons report was submitted on 12/29/2023, shortly after 1:30pm. 

On December 22nd, 2023, at 8:21pm, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the 9700 Block of Iron Junction Road due to a reported house on fire.  The house was vacant and is currently being remodeled. 

An adult male from Saginaw, MN broke through the ice on Boulder Lake while riding his ATV on 12/18/2023 at 6:53 AM. The male was able to get out of the water by himself.  Due to the warm weather, the Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to be extremely cautious on the ice.

Duane "Dewey" Johnson has been promoted to Emergency Support Services Administrator, a role that oversees the Emergency Management Division and 911 Emergency Communications.   Josh Brinkman has been promoted to Emergency Operations Manager.

On December 13th, 2023, at 1:55pm, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the 5100 Block of Country Road, Great Scott Township, due to a reported house fire. No one was home at the time of the fire. The structure was deemed a total loss.
