As planning work continues on the proposed Progress Parkway project in Eveleth, the public is invited to weigh in on potential impacts of the project. St. Louis County has prepared an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) on the proposed project, which is now available for public review and comment. An EAW is required for this project under Minnesota statute because it involves construction of a road longer than a mile that will function as a collector roadway.

St. Louis County has named Ryan Logan as director of its new Planning and Zoning Department. As Planning and Zoning Director, Logan will lead a staff of 12 who are responsible for administering and enforcing land use regulations.
