County Board Workshops have been scheduled for Tuesday July 28 and Wednesday July 29 at Virginia Public Works, Lake Vermilion Room, in Virginia, MN and Thursday July 30, 2026 at Richard R. Hansen Public Works in Pike Lake, MN. Workshops will begin each day at 9:30 a.m.The tentative agendas for the meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, July 28: (Virginia Public Works) - Working lunch served around noon
• General Overview
• Public Safety – Attorney, ARC, Sheriff’s Office
• Land & Minerals
• Economic & Community Development
• Planning & Zoning

NOTE: County Board Workshops will not be assigned an adjournment time, but rather will continue until
Commissioners are satisfied with the completed policy discussion on the topics presented the day of the
workshop. Breaks will be at the discretion of the Board Chair. The topics may vary depending on timing.
