How does high potency cannabis affect brain development in teenagers? That is the topic of free forum being offered through a partnership of St. Louis County Public Health and Lincoln Park Middle School in Duluth. The event will be held Wednesday, April 9, at Lincoln Park Middle School. A resource fair and light meal with live music will be provided from 5:30-6 p.m., followed by a presentation at 6:15 entitled "Be Extraordinary, Be You."

Real ID deadline is close; county services can help

After several years of postponements, the federal REAL ID requirement will go into effect May 7, 2025. This means any Minnesotan planning to fly on a domestic flight or enter a federal building will need a Minnesota REAL ID driver's license or identification card, Minnesota Enhanced driver's license or identification card, or some other federally approved form of identification such as a passport, or a photo ID issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation.
