PIT/HIC

Each year Continuums of Care (CoCs) conduct two counts that provide all stakeholders with the size and scope of homelessness in our community, and the available resources to address it.  The Point In Time (PIT) Count is an annual census of all individuals and families experiencing homelessness, whether unsheltered, or in emergency shelter, transitional housing, or domestic violence shelter.  According to HUD guidelines, the PIT count must take place during the final 10 days of January.  The Housing Inventory Count (HIC) compiles the total number of units and beds in our community available for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.  This website contains relevant information and documentation of these community-wide data collection efforts, and will be updated as new data is finalized and reported.
