Land for sale

St. Louis County owns approximately 1,200 parcels of land. Some of the parcels have buildings on them, such as a county courthouse or a public works garage; other parcels are gravel pits or raw land. Parcels deemed surplus by the County may be purchased. If you wish to purchase land that is not currently for sale, please fill out an application.

◾ Conforming fee land will be sold upon approval by the County Board.

◾ Non-conforming fee land may be purchased by an adjoining property owner, upon approval by the County Board.

THIS AUCTION WILL BE PRESENTED ONLINE ONLY. 

Properties will be available to bid on at www.publicsurplus.com beginning on Wednesday, August 19th. Bidding will close on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Tracts will not be viewable on the Public Surplus website until the auction opens on August 19th.
