All St. Louis County offices are open to the public. Currently, the COVID-19 Community Level is high in St. Louis County, which means facemasks are recommended inside St. Louis County buildings (and all indoor public places.)

The St. Louis County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) was created in 1988 in accordance with Minnesota statutes and has the same powers as a municipal HRA. Its primary area of operation is in jurisdictions that do not have their own HRA.  The St. Louis County HRA can operate in communities with an HRA by invitation.

The St. Louis County Board serves as the HRA governing board and the county Planning and Community Development Director serves as the HRA Executive Director.
