St. Louis County’s 2024 Land Atlas & Plat Book is available as a series of georeferenced PDF (GeoPDF) files in the Avenza Maps app. Users can view their current location on a digital plat book background, and perform a variety of functions utilizing the GPS in their Android or Apple iOS device. It is not necessary to be connected to the internet or have cell service to use the maps once they’ve been downloaded to a device. Maps for the app will be updated annually between print editions at no additional cost. St. Louis County’s maps are available for purchase in the Avenza Maps Store. 

It is strongly recommended that users register for a free Avenza account, to ensure that they receive updates to maps previously purchased.

To Get Started

1. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the internet while downloading the application and maps.
2. Download the free Avenza Maps app for your Apple or Android mobile device. The app is used to read the GeoPDF and display your location.
3. Purchase and Download GeoPDFs from the Avenza Maps Store.
