On 5/15/2026, at about 7:39 PM, deputies responded to the intersection of Comstock Lake Rd. and Mink Rd in Cotton on a report of a three-wheeled motorcycle that had crashed. The driver, a 52-year-old male from Cotton was found on the ground with a head injury.

With eight wildfires currently burning in St. Louis County, the County has activated its Emergency Operations Center to ensure a coordinated response and shared information on the existing fires, and due to concerns of additional fires that could start during the extreme fire risk conditions. Currently, all eight of the fires we previously reported on have been controlled and mop up operations continue.
