An adult male from Saginaw, MN broke through the ice on Boulder Lake while riding his ATV on 12/18/2023 at 6:53 AM. The male was able to get out of the water by himself.  Due to the warm weather, the Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to be extremely cautious on the ice.

Today, the Honorable Theresa M. Neo sentenced Dennis John Hannuksela to 46 months and 228 months in prison for the kidnapping and forcible rape of an adult female in May of 2021.
