Fire destroyed a trailer house in Morcom Township, killing three dogs. One firefighter needed treatment for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. 

The St. Louis County Auditor's Office has begun the process of sending out Proposed Property Tax Notices for 2024. These notices are sent in staggered batches over the next week, which means some property owners may not receive theirs until the end of the month.
