St. Louis County Public Works staff have completed the corridor study for County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 in Aurora, and will hold a public meeting to present the preliminary layout. The meeting will be Thursday, November 21, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Aurora Community Center, 15 West 1st Avenue North. The meeting also will be available to view virtually.

The Arrowhead Regional Corrections Executive Board is pleased to report that following a rigorous search and candidate selection process, the A.R.C. Board has appointed Becky Pogatchnik to the position of Executive Director.

On November 16th, 2024, at 6:37 P.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the 3200 Block of Fraser Road in Lavell Township for the report of a UTV crash.  The sole occupant of the UTV was reported as a 34 year old male. 

The St. Louis County Board will hold two public meetings to receive comments on its proposed operating budget and tax levy for 2025. The first meeting is Monday, November 18, at 7 p.m. in the St. Louis County Courthouse in Virginia, lower-level conference room. The second meeting will be Monday, November 25, at 7 p.m. at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth. The November 25 meeting will also be live streamed on the County's Facebook page for people to watch virtually.

The St. Louis Couty Sheriff’s Office and the Duluth Police Department are announcing a specifically marked parking area at the Public Safety Building for a safe space to exchange items between parties.
