Construction of the new geo-thermal cell at the St. Louis County landfill is complete and approved for use. To celebrate this first-of-a-kind project in the state, St. Louis County will host a news conference at the landfill to discuss how this technology will work to capture naturally occurring heat that is produced as garbage decomposes, and next steps in the project.
