County issues Request for Proposals for Depot tenants

The St. Louis County Depot is issuing an RFP, calling on organizations that are interested in engaging office, exhibit, or performance space in the 131-year-old landmark building. All current tenants have been encouraged to apply, but outside organizations are also welcome. Points will be awarded to those with meaningful commitment to the Depot’s mission and vision. Non-profits and for-profits are both welcome to apply.

St. Louis County Public Works is seeking community input to determine whether improvements are wanted at two railroad crossings on Midway Road (County State Aid Highway 13) in Midway Township and the City of Hermantown.  The meeting will be Monday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at Hermantown City Hall, 5105 Maple Grove Rd, Hermantown.

Public Works update for April 21: two new roads closed due to flooding, eight re-open

St. Louis County Public Works has been able to re-open eight more roads Friday; however two new roads were closed due to flooding. In total, 15 county roads are currently closed, while 33 others have been re-opened as water levels in area rivers and streams have receded and any needed repairs made.
