Today, before the Honorable Michelle Anderson, Michael Todd Hart, 41, pleaded guilty to Felony Burglary in the First Degree – Occupied Dwelling, Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree, and Gross Misdemeanor Violation of a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order (DANCO), announced St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki.

On May 7th, 2026 at 1712 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office completed a warrant arrest of Daniel Lee Thoreson, a 38-year-old Duluth man with a felony, no bail, domestic assault warrant in the 800 block of E 9th Street, Duluth.

On May 1, 2026, at 7:30PM, members of Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force and Hibbing Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 11400 block of Spudville Road in Hibbing. The driver of the vehicle, Michael Lemar Fitzpatrick DOB 1/29/1978 was detained during the stop and a search warrant was later executed on the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, approximately 28 grams of cocaine were located.
