On 11/05/25 at approximately 5:15 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and area fire departments from Clifton, Lakewood, Normanna, and Gnesen Townships responded to the report of a structure fire on the 6500 block of McQuade Road in Duluth Township.

On October 30, 2025, a jury found Jennifer Ann Schostag, 50, guilty of Aggravated First-Degree Sale of Methamphetamine and Aggravated First-Degree Possession of Methamphetamine following a four-day trial before the Honorable Bhupesh Pattni held in Hibbing, Minnesota.
