St. Louis County Public Health is seeking nominations from the public to recognize individuals or groups who have made significant effort to improve the health of residents or communities in St. Louis County. The Public Health Achievement Awards will be presented during the St. Louis County Board meeting on Tuesday, April 7.

At 4:17 PM today, St. Louis County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a snowmobile crash on a state snowmobile trail in Northstar Township.

Today, after 4 hours of deliberation, a Duluth jury found Jamie Scott Leblanc, 52, guilty of Third-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, announced County Attorney Kim Maki.  The verdict was delivered following a three-day jury trial before the Honorable Theresa Neo.

St. Louis County residents, community leaders, business owners, area agencies and organizations now have an opportunity to share how severe weather events impact their property and lives. There is also an opportunity to share their ideas on how to reduce local impacts in the future.

The annual conference featuring workshops presented by students for students will be happening at the DECC in Duluth on Monday.
