Today, before the Honorable Chief Judge Rachel Sullivan, Luis Antonio Villafana, 29, pleaded guilty to one count of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct for Contact with a Child Under the Age of 14 and three counts of Dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material – Minor Under the Age of 14, announced St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki.

The two-year project to reconstruct a portion of 40th Avenue West in Duluth begins next Monday, Aug. 24, and with it will come a detour lasting through the end of October, when construction is expected to pause for the winter.

Landon Terrance Tuomala, age 24, was sentenced to 120 months in prison after previously being found guilty of Attempted Second Degree Murder with Intent – Not Premeditated. He was granted a durational departure due to mental impairment.
