Regional Services that Promote Broadband Connectivity

St. Louis County relies on broadband for its core public safety and infrastructure and is a partner of the NESC Middle Mile Fiber Project.

St. Louis County works in partnership with communities and regional partners in our broad economic development activities. Our regional partners provide a wide variety of financial and technical support to businesses and communities interested in pursuing improved broadband access and speed. Following is a list of organizations involved in funding broadband research and investments.

MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Office of Broadband Development
The Office of Broadband Development helps Minnesota residents understand broadband options available and works towards its goal of border-to-border high-speed internet access throughout Minnesota. Read more about their grant program here.
