The suspect, who admitted to using meth within 24 hours of the attack, is accused of shooting at a car traveling on Townline Road. It is believed the attack was a random act of violence. Thankfully, the victim was not injured.

St. Louis County Public Health is seeking nominations from the public to recognize individuals or groups who have made significant effort to improve the health of residents or communities in St. Louis County.

Ryan Jazdzewski pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder, with an agreement of an upward departure in sentencing because a child was present during the stabbing, and because of the particular cruelty shown to the victim, Nicole Jazdzewski. Sentencing is scheduled for March 3.

The accident happened Saturday afternoon on the Voyageur Snowmobile Trail. The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Cook Hospital. His injuries are considered non life threatening. 

One man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but otherwise there were no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
