Brad Gustafson has been promoted to serve as director of St. Louis County’s Economic and Community Development Department. As director, he will oversee a team of 15 staff responsible for identifying and administering economic, community and housing development opportunities and programs, as well as manage the county’s enterprise Geographic Information System business services. 

St. Louis County's Opioid Remediation Funds Advisory Committee will be hosting two listening sessions to hear ideas from the public on how best to invest its funds. Specifically, the committee is seeking programming ideas to serve people involved in the criminal justice system. 

On March 24th, 2026, at 0907 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the 7300 Block of Oberg Road, in rural Sandy Township, due to a reported trailer house that was on fire.  Upon arrival, half of the trailer house was consumed by the fire.
