The cabin was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The driver was hauling gravel when he accidentally crossed over a fog line, then over-corrected causing the truck to roll over and spill its contents. He was taken by ambulance to a Duluth hospital for non life threatening injuries.
A search party discovered human remains in the area where Ed LePage's vehicle was found earlier this month. LePage, of Duluth, has been missing for several weeks. The remains have been sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office to confirm the identification.
A Duluth teen died after jumping into the Lester River at a spot known as "the Deeps". The public is reminded that recent rain has raised water levels and increased the current in area rivers, and appropriate caution should be taken.
