St. Louis County seeks proposals to assist with mental health, youth substance abuse and food insecurity

When the Community Health Assessment was completed for St. Louis County in 2019, it identified three priority areas for focus: mental health, youth substance abuse, and food insecurity. St. Louis County Public Health is now seeking proposals from community-based organizations within St. Louis County to help address these areas, and is offering funding support for a year of $20,000 to $100,000 for projects or initiatives that directly address one or more of those health priorities.

The county will be printing fewer copies this year because demand for the printed version has decreased in recent years as more people have sought online versions.

Intersection work to close access from Arlington Ave to Arrowhead Road on Friday

Construction near the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Arrowhead Road in Duluth will mean no turning from Arlington Avenue to Arrowhead Road and vice versa on Friday. Traffic on Arrowhead will be able to proceed straight through the intersection.
