On May 12th, 2026, at 6:22pm, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and numerous Rescue Personnel, responded to the 3600 Block of Black Bay Rd, which is on Lake Vermilion, in response to a reported boat accident involving numerous people being thrown from boats and into the water.
