Helping children and families be healthier through home visits

Amy WestbrookSt. Louis County Public Health offer several programs that involve nurses visiting expectant and new moms in their homes. These visits are proven to improve parent-child bonds, and parenting skills, increase a child's readiness for school and chances for future success, and many other benefits.

From poor to good: five years of progress on County Roads

Jim FoldesiSince 2012, St. Louis County Public Works has changed its approach to maintaining roads - increasing the overall investment and putting more emphasis on preserving roads in order to delay far more costly rebuilding projects. And it's paying off!
