County employees honored for response to devastating storm

A windstorm in the early morning hours of July 21 knocked over trees and downed power lines, leaving thousands without electricity. County staff from multiple departments responded, working together and in cooperation with Minnesota Power, and the cities of Duluth, Rice Lake and others to deliver the best service possible.

Public Health Nurses provide calm after the storm

When a severe storm blew over trees and knocked out power in parts of St. Louis County last month, teams of employees from many departments responded, including the Sheriff's Office, Public Works and the Assessor's Office. There was also a team of Public Health nurses. Here's a look at how they helped some of our County's most vulnerable citizens

Deputies join law enforcement, community mourning in Dallas

Sheriff's badge covered by black bandTwo St. Louis County Deputy Sheriff's were able to join law enforcement officers from around the county at the funeral for slain Dallas Police Officer Patricio Zamarripa, thanks to the generosity of a national airline.

Team St. Louis County completes Grandma's Marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon
