Public Safety Expo
We would like to thank the 41 agencies who participated in the 13th Annual Public Safety Expo held in 2012. We would also like to thank those who supported the Expo with their services and donations. There is no Public Safety Expo scheduled for 2013.
The Public Safety Expo was a great family event and featured demonstrations and exhibits from 41 area public safety agencies and colleges. Various demonstrations throughout the day included police canine, rappelling, car crash extrication, 9-1-1 call training for kids, 1936 fire truck ride, emergency response team equipment displays, motorcycle safety information, fire burn trailers, and much more!
Information and demonstrations throughout the day focused on public safety issues. In addition to the ongoing demonstrations throughout the day, a special featured demonstration occurred every half hour. In addition, families were able to have their photos taken for a "Wanted" poster, meet public safety officials, and see how equipment is used by various agencies.
The Public Safety Expo was held at the Hermantown Public Safety Building located at 5111 Maple Grove Road at the intersection of Lavaque Road and Maple Grove Road (2.5 miles west of Miller Hill Mall). Map it with Mapquest.
Thank you to those who supported the Public Safety Expo over the last 13 years!
