The 12th Annual Public Safety Expo will be held on Saturday - August 20th, 2011 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Hermantown Public Safety Building.

This free event is a great family activity and features demonstrations and exhibits from 43 area public safety agencies and colleges. There will be various demonstrations throughout the day including police canine, helicopter rappelling, car crash extrication, felony traffic stop, 9-1-1 call training for kids, emergency response team equipment displays, motorcycle safety information, and much more!

New this year will be a "Motorcycle Simulator" and a "Driving Simulator".  Information and demonstrations throughout the day will focus on public safety.  Register for door prizes.

Doors will open at 10 am and the Public Safety Expo will run until 4 pm. The Hermantown Public Safety Building is located on Maple Grove Road at the intersection of Lavaque Road (2.5 miles west of Miller Hill Mall).
