Sustainable Forest Incentive Act
The Sustainable Forest Initiative Act provides state incentive payments to private forest landowners for practicing good stewardship and management of their forest land.
This program is administered by the Minnesota Department of Revenue. The application forms and instructions are available at County Assessor offices in Duluth, Ely, and Virginia, the County Auditor's Department, Minnesota DNR Forestry Offices, and from the following links to the Minnesota Department of Revenue:
