Assessment

The St. Louis County Assessor is responsible for equalization of assessments throughout St. Louis County, excluding the City of Duluth.  The Department accomplishes this mission by listing, classifying, and valuing all real property and personal property subject to the property tax.  Most of the activities performed by the Department are requirements of State law.
