Working Towards Wellness… Is it Right for Your Business?

Small to medium sized businesses in south St. Louis County are invited to join St. LouisCounty’s Public Health staff and “Fit City Duluth” on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from noon to
1:00 p.m. at the First United MethodistChurch (the Copper Top), 230 E. Skyline Parkway, in Duluth.  The free event is designed to give your business an opportunity to learn about, and become a participant in, a progressive wellness initiative for your employees.
The “Workplace Wellness Program” is being offered to selected area businesses by Minnesota’s Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP). Your business in south St. Louis County could be selected to participate. One of the many benefits of this program is that SHIP provides all the funding for “Fit City Duluth” to act as your individual workplace wellness consultant.
Businesses are only asked to provide the commitment and the time.
Interested businesses should RSVP to (218) 725-5210 or e-mail
by noon on Tuesday, November 30th. A soup and sandwich lunch will be provided by the Duluth Grill restaurant. If you are unable to attend this meeting, but are interested in learning more about the “Workplace Wellness Program”, contact Christy Clay with “Fit City Duluth” at (218) 839-0787, or by e-mail at
