Becks Road re-opens following extensive reconstruction
Construction on another significant St. Louis County road is now complete. Becks Road, which connects far west Duluth with I-35 and is typically traveled by more than 3,000 vehicles each day, is paved and fully open following reconstruction of approximately two miles of roadway.
Becks Road, also known as CSAH 3, has been closed since May. It re-opened earlier this month on a limited basis with a gravel surface. However, paving is now complete, which means motorists will enjoy a smoother ride with wider shoulders.
Landscaping and clean up along Becks Road is expected to last for several more weeks. Drivers are asked to use extra caution when work crews are present.
