History Train Homecoming Party

The St. Louis County Board invites the public to the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center (The Depot) on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 5:00 PM for a reception in honor of the homecoming of the “History Train”.  The event is free.

Join the County Board as the History Train comes home, following its successful Sesquicentennial tour of the County.  The History Train brought a new exhibit about St. Louis County’s rich 150 year history to communities this summer, delighting thousands. Now the fully renovated rail car and its St. Louis County history exhibit will go on permanent display in The Depot.

Attendees will be the first to tour the exhibit in Duluth, as well as enjoy free refreshments, music, and collectible Sesquicentennial souvenirs.  Wood cutouts of famous people from St. Louis County History will be available so you can “Picture Yourself in History”.
