Date set for public hearing on FY 2011 accomplishments and CDBG 2013 Program Kickoff

The St. Louis County Planning and Community Development Department will hold a public hearing on fiscal year 2011 program accomplishments for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) programs.

Following the public hearing, information on the FY 2013 St. Louis County CDBG program will be available along with 2013 CDBG pre-applications. Eligible applicants are local units of government and nonprofit agencies. Applicants may also discuss potential projects with county staff. 

The event will take place Thursday, September 6, from 1-3 p.m. at the Mountain Iron Community Center on 8586 Enterprise Drive South.

County residents are invited to attend either session and provide information to guide funding recommendations for St. Louis County’s 2013 Action Plan. The Action Plan is the county’s application for CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
