Jean Duluth Road Construction Will Begin Thursday August 18

Beginning Thursday, August 18, St. Louis County will be performing construction on Jean Duluth Road from Zimmerman Road to Normanna Road.  Jean Duluth Road will be closed to traffic and a detour will be posted.  The posted detour will route vehicles on Lismore Road to Howard Gnesen Road to Normanna Road. The detour is anticipated to last 15 days.

The project will include roadway improvements including pavement reclamation,  new bituminous surface, culvert replacement, and the addition of a right turn lane for northbound traffic turning east onto Troy Brett Trail.

This construction work will significantly impact traffic causing delays.  St. Louis County regrets the inconvenience to area residents and others who regularly use this route and asks that the motoring public seek an alternative route during the project.
