Auditor’s Service Center at the Mill Hill Mall to Remain Open in the Event
of a State Government Shutdown on July 1

County Auditor, Don Dicklich would like the public to be aware that if there is a state government shut down on July 1, the St. Louis County Service Center at the Miller Hill Mall, 1600 Miller Trunk Highway will remain open and will be able to process all normal motor vehicle transactions and drivers license renewals.

The Service Center also will continue to process passports and accept property tax payments.  Unfortunately, the Minnesota DNR has informed the Service Center that should the state shut down, registrations of all recreational vehicles such as boats, all terrain vehicles and the like will be unavailable.
