St. Louis County Announces Various H1N1 Vaccination Clinics

                                    PRESS RELEASE (as of 01/07/10)

St. Louis County Public Health will hold H1N1 Influenza vaccination clinics at the following sites:

 VIRGINIA:   Sunday, January 10
                      Miners Memorial Building
                      821 S. 9th Ave., Virginia
                      1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

 ELY:             Monday, January 11
                      JFK School Cafeteria
                      118 S. 4th Ave. E., Ely
                      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

 HIBBING:    Tuesday, January 12
                      Hibbing Memorial Building 
                     400 E. 23rd St., Hibbing
                     10:00 am – 2:00 pm
 
 DULUTH:    Wednesday, January 13 
                     Hermantown Public Safety Building    
                     5111 Maple Grove Rd., Hermantown 
                     2:00 pm – 6:00 pm 
       
 DULUTH:    Saturday, January 16
                     First United Methodist Church  (Copper Top)  
                     230 E. Skyline Parkway, Duluth  
                    10:00 am – 2:00 pm

THESE CLINICS ARE OPEN AND FREE TO THE PUBLIC
ALL ADULTS AND CHILDREN 6 MONTHS AND OLDER ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

Clinics will remain open during the above listed times or until all vaccine has been given.

Children under 10 years who have received one dose of H1N1 vaccine require a second dose about one month later to be fully protected.

Individuals who have already experienced influenza-like illness should still be vaccinated unless H1N1 Influenza was laboratory confirmed.
