County Board Designates Fifth Candidate for County Administrator Job

At its Board meeting on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners  added a fifth candidate to the list of finalists who will be participating in the process for the position of the next County Administrator. Interviews are scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday, January 12 and 13.

Mr. Gregory Lewis was designated by the County Board as an additional finalist. He is presently the County Manager for Niagara County, New York. Mr. Lewis was one of the original candidates who applied for the position when it was first opened in August of last year, but withdrew from the process soon after the County Board had considered its first set of applicants. After contact by Mr. Lewis requesting to re-enter the process, the Board agreed to interview him with the previously identified top candidates, because of his initial high ranking in the earlier consideration process.
