St. Louis County Requests Input on Proposed

Lake Vermilion Management Plan Zoning

 

St. Louis County is nearing completion of the Lake Vermilion Management Plan by preparing proposed zoning maps for public review and comment.  The maps can be viewed on the County website at www.co.st-louis.mn.us.  Property owners on Lake Vermilion who would like to know how their properties will be affected, and other concerned citizens, are encouraged to contact the St. Louis County Planning and Development Department for information at 1-800-450-9777, and ask for Roanne Axdahl at ext. 5006; Mary Anderson at extension 7626; or Jenny Bourbonais at extension 7629.

 

A public hearing to take comments on the proposed zoning will be held on November 20, 2008,

at the Greenwood Town Hall located at 3000 Hwy. 77, Tower, Minnesota, starting at 1:30 p.m.  Maps will be available for viewing prior to the hearing.  Interested parties can submit written comments or questions by email to planninginfo@co.st-louis.mn.us or regular mail to St. Louis County Planning and Development, Northland Office Building, 307 First Street South, Virginia, Minnesota 55792.
