Murder charge dismissed in cold case

A judge has dismissed the murder charges against Bruce Cameron, ruling that his confession was not voluntary, and thus inadmissable at trial. Cameron was accused of killing an 83-year-old Virginia woman in 1987.

Woman sentenced to six years in fatal heroin overdose case

A 23-year-old woman has been sentenced to six years in prison for selling heroin to a woman who overdosed and died. This is the second such case successfully prosecuted by the County Attorney's Office this year.

Dylan Gilbertson has been arraigned on 2nd degree murder charges for the death of Jaysen Greenwood. The County Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case following an investigation by Sheriff's deputies, the BCA, Hibbing Police and the Medical Examiner's Office.
