Solid Waste Sub-Committee

The Solid Waste Sub-Committee provides recommendations on solid waste management issues to the County Board and its Environment and Natural Resources Committee and is staffed by the St. Louis County Environmental Services Department.

The Solid Waste Subcommittee is made up of four (4) members of the Board of Commissioners from those districts that receive solid waste services through the St. Louis County Enviromental Services Department.

The Solid Waste Subcommittee reviews technical information provided by the Environmental Services Department and makes recommendations to the County Board on resolutions related to solid waste management policies, planning and services.

The Solid Waste Subcommittee selects its own chair, and conducts its own meetings.  Staff support is provided by the Environmental Services Department Solid Waste Division.  Meetings are open to the public.
